Twin fin boxes

Predn board #31, the MorKy, is every twinny rider's dream. With minimal rocker for extra speed, it turns on a penny, with additional grip from the sharpness of its rare diamond tail. Its double stringers follow the concave of the board into its twin fin boxes, which are reinforced with flax/carbon hybrid tape. It’s super light, weighing in at 2.5k. This MorKy's neon blue rails marry perfectly with its light wood grain.

Predn construction

Predn is our trademark construction, the one that best encapsulates our three pillars of performance, sustainability and accessibility. The super thin marine ply veneer on the deck adds incredible toughness, practically eradicating compression dings, as well as a beautiful wooden aesthetic, each board having its own unique grain. The fin boxes are reinforced with flax cloth, an all-natural material with similar properties to carbon fibre. Even with the reinforcements, the Predn construction remains light, responsive and totally shreddable.

All our constructions use an expanded polystyrene (EPS) core. Unlike traditional polyurethane (PU), this doesn’t degrade or yellow with UV exposure, neither does it take on water if the skin gets damaged. We glass our boards with bio epoxy resin, which is less harmful than traditional resins. We hand-make our leash plugs using Cornish applewood and a brass pin, which ages beautifully without losing its integrity. All our boards are hand-shaped with love and pride in our wind-powered workshop in Cornwall.
